****** How to reach Tuebingen from the Airport ******
You will have 2 possibities:

1) You can take a cab (Taxi) and this will cost you about 40.- €

2) You can take the Aiport-Sprinter for about 5.- €.
The bus stop is just outside of the Airport, about 80 mtrs on the right hand side of the Airport main exit. You do not have to go to Stuttgart.

Conference Center Schnarrenberg

On Saturday, October 25, 2008, we offer a singular bus transfer to the Conference Center Schnarrenberg
and back to the inner city:

• Departure: 8:00 hrs
  Departure Place: In front of the Hotel Domizil, Wöhrdstr. 5-9, Tuebingen [see map]
  Arrival place: Official Bus stop UNI KLINIKEN BERG
• Return tour:
  Departure: 17:30 hrs
  Departure place: Official Bus stop UNI KLINIKEN BERG
  Arrival place: In front of the Hotel Domizil, Wöhrdstr. 5-9, Tuebingen

Dinner at the Bebenhausen Castle

There will be a bus transport to Bebenhausen, where the Dinner will take place

• Departure: 18:30 hrs

There is also a direct bus line to the Conference Center Schnarrenberg by the local public transport.

• Bus stop for the departure: Neckarbrücke (on the (right) side, where the tourist office is located)
• Bus stop for the Conference Center Schnarrenberg: Klinikum Berg

• Costs for a one way ticket: 1.95 Euro - a ticket machine is in every bus but it works only with coins!

Guided tour through Tuebingen

On Friday, October 24, 2008, conference participants are invited to join a guided tour through Tuebingen at 15:30 hrs (free of charge).  If you are interested, please come to the meeting place in front of the Tourist Information Office (Verkehrsverein), An der Neckarbrücke 1, Tuebingen [see map]. The tour will last approx. 1,5 hrs and it is planned that it will end directly at the Low Vision Clinic, where the Welcome Reception will take place.
